Feedback From Our Clients

I have known Kelley for the last 17 years. During this time she has worked with two different dogs that I have owned; each with various behavior issues that I couldn’t manage on my own. I was and still am in awe over the immediate response that my dogs give to Kelley the moment she begins working with them. Things that I have struggled with for years, she is able to instantly correct and get the behavior that she wants from them. Her energy is such that the dog just wants to please her and is eager to do anything she asks. It’s as if she speaks their language. Her methods are positive rather than domineering or negative, which is probably why the dogs are so responsive. But mostly, the training is for the owner rather than the dog. Most people don’t have Kelley’s natural ability to communicate with canines, so she concentrates on passing her knowledge onto the owners. Once you understand a few basic ways to communicate with your dog, and realize the importance of being consistent, it dawns on you that the dog was never really the problem at all!

Kelley's magic consists of a) instantly establishing full rapport with every dog she comes into contact with and b) each dog immediately wants to do whatever she
has in mind.
Don't ask me how she does it; I've seen
her do it again and again with the most unlikely dogs, of which my own was one. Julia, who after months of hard work I had practically given up on, needed only
two sessions with Kelley to get on track - and now she's the best dog a girl ever had!

I first met Kelley in 1992 when I adopted my first dog, Leo.  I had him only a few days and things were not going very well.  I was totally frustrated with my new 1-year-old German shepherd mix.  Leo came to me with several behavior problems that were not going to go away by themselves.  If it wasn't for Kelley Fallon, I would have had to return him to the human society before the end of the second week.  Kelley worked with us and taught me some important tips on dealing with his uneasiness with runners and bicyclists.  Kelley is a very knowledgeable dog trainer.  I was amazed to see my dog pay such close attention to what she asked of him. And within a few sessions, I learned to get him to do the same for me.  I enjoyed my handsome boy for 12 more fun filled memorable years.

In 2012, my family and I were ready for a new dog companion.  This time I contacted Kelly and consulted with her before I adopted a dog. I wanted to make sure it would go smoother from the beginning. I fell for a little 5 year old terrier mix.  The Milo staff had had problems with Bambi biting people who came to see her.  They had red flags up and were concerned that this dog needed to go to a special family who could deal with that type of behavior.  Bambi was a sweet dog until you approached her bed.  This dog loves to sleep and was possessive about her bed.  With Kelley's expertise and helpful tips we easily worked with her and now we have a wonderful little dog that sleeps all day when we are at work and loves to hike with me in the afternoon and weekends.  My whole family adores this sweet lovable little dog.  Thank you again, Kelley!
